Fair points. I accept your distinction as it relates to the past. When I said that men historically ruled through misogyny and political control, I presumed I could get into the minds and motives of men living before modern times neutralized the genders...and I should not have assigned negative motives to ALL men. But even stipulating all your points are valid - that men deserved to be in control since they had to put their lives on the line to protect their families - those times are over, and my main point is, "What do modern men do now?" since many are still filled with the same adrenaline and desire to protect and defend.
