Here’s to better days

We lock people up for everything

What do jaywalking, unpaid parking tickets, a broken tail light, and drinking an open beer on the boardwalk, all have in common? Real, brave, patriotic Americans are actually locked up for these foolish laws.

There’s a law for everything: watering your lawn, how loud you speak, pissing in the woods (I’ve pooped in the woods, that’s probably a felony.)

We love to punish “other” people — not so much ourselves.

We all have a constitutional and a god-given right to stand up for our beliefs but if everybody imprisons those who disagree with them politically, we’ll all end up in jail.

The end of the rule of ANY law

Some Americans believe left-leaning democrats consist of elite, snobby, entitled, money-hungry, hypocrites who think the laws should apply to everyone but themselves — because they are a better breed of human.

Other Americans believe right-leaning republicans consist of under-educated, grotesquely rude, violent, carnival barkers who scream emotionally charged opinions without an iota of understanding what the hell they’re saying.
