I hear you. And probably could've better organized my thoughts on why so many are chasing an unattainable standard of beauty. I do remember our Scooby Doo discussion and I'm still rooting for Velma 😆. We agree women get Botox and Plastic surgery "because men primarily judge women based on their looks." What I didn't acknowledge or think of (until you pointed it out) is that many women are refusing to be ruled by men's expectations, anymore. I over-generalized. And, attractiveness related to body shape standards are much more varied than when I grew up. As I get older, I'm beginning to struggle with accepting my own physical diminishment. I'm probably more vain than I should be...😆. Thanks for engaging with me again, GutsGutsLifeLife
