If Women Want to Get Angry About a Hypocritical, Double Standard

The minute a woman gets a single wrinkle she’s sometimes perceived as old or less attractive, yet for men, it’s often a different story

Somehow I think this will end up being men’s fault.

In other words, if men weren’t so focused on a woman’s physical attractiveness they might not be as worried about always looking perfect.

If we men are going to be honest and truthful, we must admit that we are hyperfocused on a woman’s physical attractiveness.

We could be 102 years old and an attractive 28-year-old will turn our head.

I can’t get into a woman’s head, but many have told me they genuinely find a man between 35 and 60 just as attractive as a man between 18 and 30.

This may explain some of the double standard.

I understand it’s not as categorical as I’ve defined it. A great deal has to do with advertising, historical patriarchy, wealth, and sex.

Women have made tremendous progress, but the most powerful people in the world — economically and politically — continue to be men.
