I'm realizing that masculinity, aggressiveness, and dominance, which typically is part of the patriarchy may be inextricably tied to some men's identity. Certainly not every dominant, aggressive man is violent, there are many gentle giants. And as you say there are many women who are just as aggressive, violent, and dominant as men. And I'm not certain whether providing education for impulse control over our behavior is valuable but it's probably worth a try.
