Is It Sexist for a Man to Want to Take Care of a Woman?
We talk so much about angry, misogynistic, abusive men, but what’s wrong with a man protecting and defending his girlfriend or wife? Not to dominate…but because it’s what they both want.
There are a few good men left.
It is true, I’ve never met a man (or a woman) who is in total control of their emotions and behavior 100% of the time….their entire life.
It is true, that many men say they want to protect and defend women, but it’s just a guise, hiding their true intentions which is to control and dominate.
It is true, that many women are much stronger than men emotionally, psychologically, and physically….and are better suited to be the protector and defender of the family.
And forgive my stereotyping but I believe there are innate, biologically-driven differences between men and women beyond socially engineered conditioning.
I realize some will lambast me for perpetuating the “men strong; women weak” template. Or, believe I’m suggesting our culture revert to the days when women were baby makers and housewives and men earned the money to support the family….but I am not.
