It’s Amazing How Contagious This Not Working Thing Can Be

The pandemic was the straw that broke the working classes back

I grew up in the, “Get your ass off the couch you lazy bum,” generation.

We did…and made about 1% of the population rich beyond their wildest dreams.

The remaining 99% of us have a little message for ya…the party’s over — for you.

A body in motion

A human body in motion, say working 40 hours a week, perhaps grudgingly, stays in motion.

A body on the sofa playing video games, eating chips, and dozing off at the slightest feeling of tiredness, might never achieve motion again.

Action begets action; Lazy begets inaction.

Clearly, like students coming back to school after having the summer off, no matter how strong one’s work ethic, a body at rest….tends to stay at rest.

And therefore, laziness is at least partly to blame for why we can’t seem to get a decent cup of coffee or a fully cooked cheeseburger anymore.

We are not lazy as a whole — we are disillusioned and burnt out but I wouldn’t underestimate the American entrepreneurial spirit — it’s alive, but will no longer be exploited so billionaires can purchase more mega-yachts or build more…
