I’m not religious.

I grew up learning the principles and morals of treating others how I wanted to be treated but I never studied the Old or New Testament.

Coming of age in the 80s, I was encouraged to follow my libido wherever my testosterone took me. If I felt a physical attraction to a woman, and she reciprocated, it was common to pursue that sexual desire — sometimes within minutes.

Growing up, there were two distinct types of couples: 1. The ones who ONLY socialized as a couple and never did anything without the other one with them. And, 2. The ones who took a lot of business trips or socialized without their spouses and trusted each other to remain faithful — without ever truly knowing.

In my early twenties, I lived in Manhattan, and while in graduate school I worked as a temporary employee with dozens of major corporations: Time Magazine, Scott Towel, and UPS, to name a few.
