OMG, There’s too Many Rules for Dating These Days

Talk, but not too much…kiss me, but not too soon…text me, but not compulsively…tell me about your dating history but don’t talk about your ex

Dear women, it’s true that many men are selfish, overly confident, fools.

But many men just want to be given a chance — a little grace — while trying to be themselves and be the man you want them to be.

Talking:

We talk too much; we talk too little.

We talk too much about ourselves.

We talk too little about ourselves.

We talk and don’t listen.

We listen and don’t talk.

For crying out loud, give us a chance — particularly on a first date — we’re nervous, we’re awkward, we want to impress you, we want to say the right things. Let us find our groove.

Kiss me:

If we kiss you too soon, we’re a predator.

If we don’t kiss you soon enough, we’re a hesitant, fearful, loser….and probably gay.

If we ask permission to kiss you we’re not romantic and spontaneous enough.

If we go in halfway and wait for you to do the rest, we’re wishy-washy.
