Forgive me for stereotyping. Men want to be picked for sex…women for love

I hope he picks me.

He’s so hot, he’s got a million choices, why would he pick you?

Because I’m loyal. Because I’ll take care of him. Because I’ll shield him.

Shield him…from what? Why compete with a dozen other women? Where’s your pride, where’s your dignity? Even if the sex is mind-blowing, what makes you think he won’t pick the next girl when he gets bored with you?

Because I’m different.

Different, how?

I’m willing to go that extra mile. I’ll make him feel appreciated and loved.

So will every other woman who’s willing to spread their legs for him.

Why do women degrade, demean, and objectify themselves to compete for some asshole’s attention?

Why do so many women still wait desperately — frantically, often in a psychotic panic of uncertainty — hoping, praying, hyperventilating — in hopes that a man who just used them sexually, will text them expressing their undying loyalty and eternal love?
