To My Friends, Whom I Love, Who Support Trump
I know you hate us Democrats with a fiery rage — and to some degree we deserve it — our leaders can be elitist, judgmental, smooth-talking, liars
Yes. We Democrats have failed.
We talk a good game but are too self-protective and haven’t been successful in bringing those who aren’t born with wealth and privilege into the middle and upper-middle classes.
We can be weak, intimidated, and too easily influenced by Wall Street, private equity, and big business.
In the name of equality and fairness, we sometimes overstep and don’t realize that nobody is asking for participation trophies to get ahead….just a fair shake.
We Democrats are just as guilty as Republicans, who take millions from defense, pharmacy, and technology companies, and are then beholden to their interests…not the interests of their constituents.
I dare to say that most — not just many — politicians are corrupt…on both sides.
But our great country tends to run itself.
Even with the enormous, unfettered power Robert’s Supreme Court bestowed upon any president — effectively giving them immunity from murder, presidents tend to be reluctant to cause mass fury amongst the citizens.
