I wonder if casual dating ends in one of three ways: 1. Both decide to mutually end it.

2. One decides to end it and the other person gets hurt because they want to continue.

3. Both to decide to "upgrade" the relationship from "casual" to "serious".

So much is semantics, isn't it?

I wonder if people like the term casual dating because, like a Rorschach test, they can perceive and define the relationship their own way, even though any objective observer would say they're in a relationship.
